March birthday wishes

 We celebrated a birthday a few weeks ago.

 We had a special lunch filled with delicious foods.

Maria and I made homemade fondant and decorated the cupcakes with Julia's favorite animal: OWL'S. Happy Birthday Julia. We love you.

Oh Happy Day!

Lucas' b-day came and went without pictures. Here he is making egg nog and harrassing Julia (as usual). It's that big brother thing. Happy belated b-day. You add spice to our family and we love you.

Hula Hooping at the Winter Olympics.

 Maria, Alex, and I volunteered at the Traverse City Special Winter Olympics with our friend Karen and her friend Renee to do Hula Hooping with the people there.

Karen has some giant hoops and us kids enjoyed playing around with them.

 The Olympics are held at the Grand Resort., so after we were done for the day, we went up in the glass elevator. Here we were at the 15th floor.

Valentines Day 2013.

 We always celebrate Valentines Day with a special treat..... Chocolate Fountain!! Or Chocolate "Mountain" as Bella called it.

 I fixed a piece of paper shaped as a heart to the front of Mom's camera, to give the pictures a different effect.

 For dinner we made personal pizza's for the kids

He Lost A Tooth!!!

 Tony lost one of his front teeth! He was so excited that at 10:00 p.m he woke up Mom to pull it out.

He was all smiles and came running into our girl's room showing us all his new gap.Good work Tony!

Ice Skating!

To make a long story short, Nick is going to get coached by a lady for the next Special Winter Olympics in ice skating. So every week when Mom takes Nick to his lesson, we kids go along to have some fun!

 We call it our PE day(physical exercise) cause it is definitely exerting. Several of us kids get quite warm and take off our hats and coats off after a couple of times around.

 This is Bella's first year on skates and believe it or not after a couple times around the ice, Bella is now able to skate by herself and without the bar!

 She does a great job!

 Julia and Alex. We kids try different things each week, like stopping, spinning etc.....

 Here comes the train! We have lots of fun and look forward to it each week.

Day with the Kiddos!

 Mom took some of the kids to the library and I stayed home with the little ones. I found this game on Pinterest. It was a challenge for them to blow through a straw and to keep the pompom on the tape.

We made cookies together and I had the little kids do each their own pan. Bella " wanting to be like us older girls" made sure that everything in the cookie department went her way. Taking the cookies off the pans, and putting more in.

So once the boys put their cookies in, I had them do the dishes. I know cruel right? Well they actually made a great team and got it done. Thanks for the fun afternoon together kids!
